E-books are breaking down territories by allowing readers the world over to buy books from anywhere.

As compared with 2010, this past year saw the availability of international e-bookstores and digital titles explode. At several of the publishing conferences, people wondered if the proliferation of stores in Europe selling English-language books would impinge on sales of the same volumes in translation in those countries. Likewise, the vast number of non-native English speakers in the US suggests that their is a fertile potential audience for overseas e-books.
