Thank You to All Who Attended PP’s Children’s Publishing Conference

In What's the Buzz by Hannah Johnson

The Publishing Perspectives team would like to say “THANK YOU” everyone who attended our first conference in New York City, “What Makes a Children’s Book Great?”. Our speakers shared their insight about children’s books, storytelling and publishing to a sold-out crowd of over 200 publishing professionals, agents, librarians and authors. The event was a great success because of everyone who attended. We hope to see everyone back at another PP event in the future.

We’d also like to say thank you to Scholastic Inc. for hosting the event, to our media partners School Library Journal and The Horn Book.

You can read the tweets from the conference under the hashtag #PPKids, or our post-conference piece, What Makes a Children’s Book Great? We Have Some Answers, by PP’s children’s books editor, Dennis Abrams.
