“We publish children’s books for the Indian market and since India has not been so affected by the global economic recession. Markets, such as Brazil and Argentina, seem to be quite strong and they are very strong markets for our titles—they are buying a lot of rights from us. Latin America in general is growing. It’s interesting to watch what is happening in America with digital products. We’re waiting to see how it plays out with new projects, such as Disney’s recent decision to offer an online subscription to much of their catalog. Our attitude is: Let them do it first, to see if it works, then we’ll make a decision as to whether or not we’ll follow their lead.”
