Bonus Material: Summer Reading Lists

In Discussion by Edward Nawotka

Summer readingIt’s Memorial Day in the United States, the traditional start of the summer reading season. Here are some links to reliable Summer reading lists from around the Web.

STEPHEN KING: The master of horror offers a top seven for summer. Pay attention, he championed Daniel Wroblewski’s “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle”  last year and it lept onto bestseller lists soon thereafter.

FROM LONDON: The list is divided into categories, from Sci-fi to Thrillers, but the photo shows a trio of English beachcombers who aren’t sunburned — so how reliable can the list be?

THE BOOK BEAST: Thirteen titles, one for each weekend, from the publication that takes its name from Evelyn Waugh’s “Scoop.”

AGES 1-18: This wonderful up-to-the-minute list covers children of all ages.
