In News by Erin L. Cox

Publishing Perspectives and other international partners are sharing a survey to assess the awareness of international literary awards and their impact on the industry.

At Publishing Perspectives, we write a considerable amount about international book awards. The goal of our coverage is to celebrate the exceptional work of writers and publishers and, perhaps, expand the audience for the work through the publication of books in translation in other countries.

In order to help guide our coverage, we are sharing a survey with our readers which explores the international landscape and perceptions of book prizes across the publishing, bookselling, writing, media, and academic sectors.

Information in this anonymous survey is collected for research purposes and to help deepen our understanding of the awareness, relevance, and impact of book prizes within the international publishing industry.

The survey is open until mid-February. We will share the results in a future story as well as use this information to help us with future award coverage. To participate, please click here.
