Need Some Souvenirs from Frankfurt?

In Frankfurt Tips by Hannah Johnson

Here are two of my favorite stores to find gifts in Frankfurt (they are tried-and-true crowd pleasers):

Marimekko Store

Marimekko is a Finnish textile and clothing design company. Their patterns are bold and colorful. These patterns inspire the design for Marimekko’s range of kitchen and household items, as well as bags and clothing. The Frankfurt store sells a selection of linens, dishes, bags and clothing, as well as the actual fabrics.

The store is located at Oeder Weg 29. The closest subway stop is Grüneburgweg on the U1, U2 and U3 lines.

Erzgebirgische Volkskunst

No household is complete without a wooden nutcracker figurine, right? This store sells wooden figurines, ornaments and decorations in the traditional folk art style of the Erzgebirge, a mountainous region on the border of Germany and the Czech Republic. Everything in this store looks very cute and German!

The store is located at Töngesgasse 27. The closest subway stop is Hauptwache on the U1-3, U6 and U7 lines as well as the S1-6, S8 and S9 lines.
