This morning at BookExpo America, Baker & Taylor and LibreDigital announced a new partnership agreement that will create “a one-stop” digital content delivery platform available for publishers of books, magazines and newspapers.
The platform allows for delivery of digital content in a variety of formats and to multiple devices. With the expansion of the digital reading sphere both in terms of file formats and devices, this partnership could make it easier for publishers to deploy their content across the expanding digital landscape.
The agreement offers existing Baker & Taylor publishing partners the opportunity to use a range of LibreDigital services, from digital content storage and delivery, to analytics and social media integration.
“The demand for e-books is skyrocketing as consumers quickly gravitate to digital channels to recommend, buy and read books, newspapers and magazines,” said Russell P. Reeder, President and CEO of LibreDigital, Inc.
