In January of this year, Norwegian Chef Geir Skeie became an international cooking sensation when he lead the Norwegian team to the gold medal at the Bocuse d’Or—an event known around the world as the Olympics of Food.
Not only has he won one of the food world’s most prestigious prizes, he has also won the Chef of the Year 2007, the World Cup in Luxembourg with Chef League, and the Norway Championship in the art of cooking 2003. Oh, and he’s only 28. Today, you can add to his achievements his first cookbook: Fra Barndom til Bocuse d’Or [From Childhood to the Bocuse d’Or], which is just out now.
