logo-lettra1Starting in October, Lettra, the online video portal devoted to books and authors, will have a much wider reach — 10 million users wider, in fact. Lettra’s video offerings will be integrated into the OMS Video Network, which provides local and national video content to the online versions of German daily newspapers. Borsenblatt has the scuttlebutt.

Spiegel Online, the most popular online news source in Germany, is teaming up with iPublish to try and turn travel portal merian.de into the top travel site in Germany, reports BuchMarkt. Spiegel will provide editorial and technical support for the site, which features creative yet practical travel reports, along with general information about travel destinations and comprehensive photo galleries. As an added bonus, the stories featured on the site will also be integrated into Spiegel’s news feed.
