Early Listings of Events on Artificial Intelligence
Those who aren’t regular trade visitors to Frankfurter Buchmesse (October 16 to 20) are always taken aback to learn how early those who do go every year begin working on a kind of map for the week.

The “pathway to victory” sought by election campaign strategists these days in the United States is a list of which states and voter demographics their candidates must win to achieve the desired results from the US elections that will follow Frankfurt this year on November 5. For a publishing professional, working out how to get the most important meetings and programming events into the week for maximum results from the trip is the “pathway to victory.”

Many of the thousands registering for this year’s trade show are already working on calendars, spreadsheets, and diaries, working up the “pathway” they’ll take, trying to guess how long a dash across the Agora from Hall 5.2 to Hall 3.1 will require.

Programming is being completed now, schedule announcements are ahead, and of course artificial intelligence and issues around it figure into many parts of many presentations, discussions, and speeches.

Here are some of the program elements spotted so far with AI as part of their emphasis. All times listed, of course, are CEST.
