Alongside the hustle of meetings, fair-goers are celebrating their 25th anniversaries as Frankfurt exhibitors, stand openings, and reconnecting with friends and colleagues.

On the opening day of the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair, aisles were full, stands were buzzing with conversations, and stages were full of speakers. In addition to our ongoing coverage of the fair, below you’ll find photos of just a few of the events and celebrations that took place this Wednesday.

Colombia Opens its Frankfurt Stand

Colombia opened its collective stand (5.0 B142) at the Frankfurt Book Fair this year, with 11 publishers present.
