Infographic: Future of Library and Information Science Jobs

What do job prospects look like in library and information science over the next ten years? When information and entertainment is easily accessible online, what do patrons expect from their libraries?

As part of its Library and Information Science resources, the University of Southern California created an infographic on the outlook of libraries and information science careers in the United States.

Their research found that this female-dominated sector will see the most job growth in information security analysis (37% growth through 2022), but that information systems analysts get paid the most on average ($120,950 per year).
