Today’s feature looks at the latest wave of European crime fiction to be translated into English, this time from Central Europe. There are several countries that have burgeoning crime writing scenes, with few writers translated into English.
With Scandinavia’s crime fiction spree winding to a close, the genre is now up for grabs. Will we go for another country like Sweden, a country perceived to be safe and crime-free? Or will we choose a country known for its seedy underbelly?
