Happy Holidays from Publishing Perspectives

Thank You For a Great Year in 2011

In Ed's Perspective by Edward Nawotka

Looking back on 2011, it’s amazing to think how quickly time passes. Maybe we were just especially busy.

This past year we published hundreds of original feature stories and more than 1,000 news posts, profiles, book reviews and discussion questions. We printed show dailies at the London and Frankfurt Book Fairs, expanded our coverage into children’s books with the launch of the Publishing Perspectives Children’s Book Edition, and created PublishNews Brazil and Spanish World Book News, specialized newsletters offering enhanced news coverage of Latin America and Spain. That’s without mentioning all the conferences, presentations and travel, which took us from Buenos Aires to Berlin to Beijing and beyond…

But, the truth is, for all the fun we had, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you and your ongoing support, interest and attention.

So we just wanted to take this moment to say “thanks.”

Thank you for inviting us to be a part of this dynamic community, one that enriches the lives of all it touches.

In 2012, we promise to work even harder to bring you the best coverage of the book and publishing business from across the globe.

Here’s to you, our readers, colleagues, supporters, advertisers, partners and friends. May you have a joyous holiday season and a happy and successful new year.
