Not all service providers are created equal, especially when it comes to self publishing. Which ones do you think are the best?

digital self publishing

Today’s feature story looks at some of the book cover design options for self published authors, including service providers, friends, crowdsourcing and freelancers. Some providers — such as E-Book Editors — offer a full suite of services; others, most often individual practitioners, offer to do just a single thing, such as editing, extremely well.

So, based on your experience, who are the top service providers for self-publishers? Feel free to make a recommendation for someone you have liked working with in the past, feel free to plug your own company (provided you can confidently back it up, because we might just follow up your claims), or to share your experiences, good or bad (but please keep it civil).
