Sample Todd Sattersten’s Everything I Know About Business Books

In Ed's Perspective by Edward Nawotka

By Ed Nawotka

In today’s lead story, author and book scout Todd Sattersten mentions that in preparation for going to this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair he’s published a 150-page custom book entitled Everything I Know About Business Books. He’s generously offered to give Publishing Perspectives a free 33-page sample, which includes the chapter “How to Read a {Business} Book” and notes on the 40 best business books since January 2009.

According to R.R. Bowker, there were 11,000 business books published in the U.S. in 2007 — or 44 titles per day. Sattersten’s cheat cheat cuts through the morass and helps makes sense of this very lucrative part of the biz.
