DLD (Digital – Life – Design), a three-day cross-industry conference focusing on the creative aspects of digital media and marketing, will come to Asia for the first time in September. DLD is a project of Hubert Burda Media, one of the largest publishing groups in Germany. Originally held only in Munich, DLD has since expanded to host events in Palo Alto, London, Tel Aviv, Moscow, and New York. Branded DLD Global, the conference will expand its worldwide presence further with the inaugural event in Beijing.
On Sunday, September 12, the DLD Global Reception will be held at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing. Over 150 digital media, business, marketing, technology, and design professionals are expected to attend the event, held a day before the WEF New Champions Meeting. At the event, an international panel, moderated by Saul Singer, author of Start-Up Nation, will discuss the role of China in the modern digital marketplace. Israeli Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Labor, Binyamin Fouad Ben-Eliezer, will provide the closing remarks. The event is invitation only, but interested parties can contact DLD at dldglobal@burda.com for more information.
