Today’s lead story describes the launch of a new online bookstore in Spain that aims to become the equivalent of Amazon.com

Amazon runs their own branded stores in the US (natch), UK, Canada, Japan, Germany, France and China (under the name Joyo.com). And though they don’t have a store in Spain, they do offer plenty of Spanish-language books. Are there other markets where Amazon is missing out? Russia comes to mind as a large potential market. How about Brazil? Or Italy? Or Mexico? We’d love to hear from some of our international readers on this question. Let us know what you think in the comments.
