Che for Children

In Discussion by Edward Nawotka

By Edward Nawotka

Dennis Abrams is the author of more than twenty nonfiction books for children and has covered topics as varied as celebrity chef Rachael Ray, politician Hillary Clinton, and the Opium Wars. His latest book is a biography of Argentine Che Guevara, forthcoming from US publisher Chelsea House this summer.

In this Publishing Perspectives video, Abrams discusses the challenge of interpreting the divisive communist for a generation of capitalist readers who may know him only as the scraggly bearded guy adorning a million t-shirts.
