Based on number released by DLD, one of Brazil’s biggest ebook distributors, we forecast the ebook market in Brazil at 3.57 million units sold — or 2.6% of the overall market — for 2013.

Ink Used in Book Publishing Could Go Tax Free
The Brazilian senate is studying the bill that will make ebooks tax free. Now a bill in the deputies chamber in Brasília could exempt ink used for printing books.
