Brazil’s Groupo Editorial Record, now the largest editorial group in Latin America, is celebrating its 70th anniversary with 70 events in 2013, including a donation of 70,000 titles to the National Library.

Bookstore, Electronics Chains to Sell Kindles in Brazil
As reported earlier this week, Amazon is will begin selling its Kindle ereader through retail partners, including bookstore chain Livraria da Vila and Ponto Frio, an important electronics retail chain.
