Our Editor on C-SPAN Discussing the Digital Future

By Edward Nawotka

At BEA this year I had the privilege to sit on a panel hosted by the National Book Critics Circle about the effect e-reading is having on criticism and book reviews. The panelists included myself, Jane Ciabattari, president, National Book Critics Circle; Carolyn Kellogg, book blogger, The Los Angeles Times; Denise Oswald, editorial director, Soft Skull Press; Nicholas Latimer, director of publicity, Knopf, and Kate Travers, marketing and media consultant. The panel was moderated by John Reed, books editor, Brooklyn Rail.

The video is now up online and you can the 55-minute video here.
