Day Two at O’Reilly’s Tools of Change Conference, New York
February 24, 2010
By Hannah Johnson
The second day of TOC 2010 saw an increase in attendees over 2009 and packed a full program of over 50 speakers into a single day. Speakers included experts from within the publishing community as well as people working in other areas of technology, media and business. Some of the main issues discussed at the conference included how publishers can create content optimized for digital consumption (and how that content is different from print), best tools and practices for managing growing databases, and how to innovate business models that include customer outreach.
Below is our latest video report from the conference with interviews from Andrew Savikas (Program Chair, TOC), Michael Mace (Principal, Rubicon Consulting) and Jeff Gomez (CEO, Starlight Runner Entertainment). Check back with us tomorrow for more in-depth coverage of the final day of TOC.
